A message to my lovely ladies and special gents that have always called into Ma Maison Home Couture to pick up that ‘special little something’…

Thank you for not only you patronage, but for your friendship.  I have been blessed with not only the opportunity to establish my own business and pursue my creative passions, but to have met so many beautiful and interesting people from all walks of life since originally opening my doors at 132 Auburn Road in February 2008.

As the old saying by Alexander Graham Bell goes, “When one door closes another door opens…” I am really looking forward to moving the business on-line whilst I am searching for the perfect new location.  Who knows where this opportunity will take me?!?

I will be travelling to Sydney at the beginning of July to attend both the Online Retail Expo and, if time permits, the July 2010 Home & Giving Fair.  Early August will see me pounding the pavement at the Melbourne gift fairs!  In between, I am going to have a bit of a break to ‘recharge my batteries’ and spend a bit of time with the family.  It will feel strange to not have to work Saturdays!  I won’t know what to do with myself!!!

Our online store is being “tweaked” as we speak.  I am hoping to come away with some great learnings from the Sydney Online Retail Expo that will provide a finished product that you will all love – not to mention lots of new products to introduce you to following the gift fairs.  My aim is to have the online store up and running by early September.  It will be worth the wait … I promise.
